Medical Malpractice Statistics

Medical malpractice statistics
There is currently an up surge in the number of cases of medical mal practice and the Medical malpractice statistics are not so really appreciable it is rather gloomy. Some tend decades ago there is not such an up slope in the medical mal practice chart, thanks to some greedy doctors and physicians they are soaring to a record high now. Because of this steep increase in the number of medical mal practice the number of mal practice suits has increased. And this is really helping some of the lawyers to see some money through medical mal practice law suits.

Almost one in three of the medical mal practice law suits have been sued against non surgical physicians, and one in two of the law suits are against surgeons. This really gives the picture from where we can infer that there is lot of mal practice happening with surgeons rather than non surgeons. These mal practices are taking place in the densely populated area where there is a lot of money doing the rounds. And this statistics are true if the Bureau of Justice Statistics to be believed. Also we should not infer that the lawyers in that densely populated area are making a mountain out of a small mole. There is an interesting fact that many of the law suits are not won by the victims and this shows that some of the cases are alleged to be medical mal practice. Since the majority of the cases are not won by the victims we shall not consider this statistics as a big thing.
